The staff were polite and hospitable throughout our stay.

The room we were given was quite dated, with a moving sink unit that was concerning. The heating was uncontrollable, making it uncomfortable as we had to put cushions over the radiator. the breakfast experience was disappointing, as we had to repeatedly ask for our drinks and waited for food to be replenished, which detracted from enjoying our meals.

Hidden gems but service struggles

The room was comfortable and spacious, allowing for a relaxing evening after a long day. The friendly receptionist made us feel welcome immediately.

The hotel's modern decor is a refreshing change, with comfortable rooms that feature a stylish feature wall behind the beds. The bathrooms are well-equipped with great over-bath showers, and the ambiance in the lobby is welcoming with ambient music enhancing the overall experience.

Impeccably clean accommodations and welcoming staff made for a lovely experience. The evening bar served superb food, and the breakfast selections, including warm dishes, were enjoyable. noise disturbances from children running around in the lobby until late made relaxation difficult, and shared bathroom experiences were less than ideal due to high traffic. These factors detracted from what could have been a peaceful weekend away.

The reception staff were super friendly, helping us book a taxi to our event, and the shower had amazing water pressure that really made our day. I loved relaxing in the lovely garden area after a long drive, and the live music really added to the atmosphere. The room was a bit dark and overlooked the car park, but it didn’t take away from our enjoyable stay. 🌼
